Edinburgh City FC are pleased to announce the club are set to launch a new crest and visual identity for the start of the 2018/2019 season.
The club been working alongside Scottish designer Ryan McGinnis for the past 18 months to redevelop a fresh approach to the Citizen’s brand presence and communication output.
This extended period of research, development and consultation has been informed from the wider footballing community, our city and our club; by our officials, playing staff, and, most importantly, our loyal fan base.
The launch of this new identity works in tandem with a wider club progression as we look to further solidify our status as a Scottish Professional Football League side. Our new crest will be at the heart of this, projecting the club into the modern digital age, whilst paying homage to our heritage.
We will shortly confirm a launch date for the new crest, with a local event and online content planned to celebrate the new identity to be announced in due course.
