Tomorrow we entertain Elgin City at Ainslie Park as we look to maintain our lead at the top of League 2.

OPPONENTS: elgin city

Elgin visit Ainslie Park tomorrow on the back of a 4-2 win over basement club Albion Rovers. Their season has been a mixed bag so far, with as many wins as losses, however they are a strong team and have former Citizen Craig Beattie in their ranks. Shane Sutherland is as always the main goal threat for Gavin Price’s team, with the hit-man bagging nine goals so far this term.

Both teams home colours are black and white, however Elgin are scheduled to wear their change kit of red and black tomorrow.

Admission prices at Ainslie Park as always will be £12 for adults, £6 concessions, with under 12s free and a cash gate will be open.

The supporters bar will be open from 1:30pm for fans of both teams.

Our partners FansBet have a range of Boosted Odds on our match with Elgin City tomorrow; to see all visit

It’s a case of one (hopefully) in, one out tomorrow as having missed the midweek clash with Peterhead, Robbie McIntyre will be aiming to re-join the squad tomorrow, however Andy Black misses out following his red card in the same match. He joins captain Josh Walker, John Dunn, Keiran Stewart and Danny Handling on the sidelines. Brad Donaldson faces a late fitness test.

The sides met in the second game of the season up at Borough Briggs, where Elgin inflicted our first league defeat. In a tightly contested match, we had the best of the stats but Shane Sutherland’s strike on the hour mark proved the difference on the day.
