Arguably the biggest game of our season so far, sees us travel North for a 1st versus 2nd clash with Peterhead.

OPPONENTS: peterhead

True to the pre-season expectations, Jim McInally’s men are at the top of the league, challenging for the automatic promotion spot and the title itself. The Blue Toon have one of the deepest and most experienced squads in the division, with quality throughout, including top class players such as Willie Gibson, Derek Lyle and the irrepressible Rory McCallister. In the January transfer window, Peterhead again strengthened, bringing forward Shane Sutherland back from Elgin City and adding Paul Willis to their midfield following his departure from Berwick Rangers.

Per the advice of the referee, Peterhead will be in their home colours, with City changing.

Admission prices at Balmoor will be £12 for adults, £7 concessions, with under 16s free; a cash gate will be open.

Our injury list still includes John Dunn, Keiran Stewart and Danny Handling.

Most recently, we met Peterhead on league duty back in early December, when a well-worked Blair Henderson goal cancelled out Jason Brown’s opener for Peterhead. A share of the spoils was probably a fair result given how closely matched the teams are, with tomorrow sure to be a similarly tight contest.
