Edinburgh City FC and Social Bite Announce New Partnership

Edinburgh City FC and Social Bite are excited to announce that they are teaming up to end homelessness. The Ainslie Park based side will be sporting the Social Bite logo on all their 2019/20 kits. Meanwhile, the homelessness charities’ award winning kitchen will supply fresh food for Edinburgh City FC’s fundraising events throughout the 2019/2020 season.

Edinburgh City FC players and officials will be joining thousands of others sleeping outside on the 7th of December, to raise money as part of the World’s Big Sleep Out. The club’s Chairman Jim Brown said: “Everyone at the club has admired the incredible work done by the team at Social Bite in tackling the problem of homelessness and it’s an honour to be able to play a part in their on-going campaign. The Social Bite brand stands for superb values of hard-work, social enterprise and opportunity, all of which resonates with the ethos of a community club such as ours. We look forward to working with Social Bite and to supporting the Big Sleep Out in December.”

Andrew Bailie, Partnerships Manager at Social Bite commented “We look forward to working alongside the team and their supporters, at an exciting time for both organisations. Nobody should have to face homelessness in Edinburgh, and we are delighted that this growing club has joined our mission.”
