Season Tickets 2020/21
We are delighted to confirm that season tickets for the SPFL League 2 Season 2020 / 2021 are now on sale.
It’s fair to say that the last few months have been extraordinary for people in all walks of life, not least the football community; however clearly the impact of the Coronavirus means that this season will be quite a different experience than we are all used to.
Since confirmation by the SPFL of our league fixtures, one positive has been that with the truncated campaign of only three rounds of fixtures, we find ourselves with 14 home and 13 away games for 2020/21.
Despite the challenges of the last six months, the club has managed to retain the core of our squad and make several notable additions including Danny Jardine and Lee Hamilton joining from Stirling Albion and Stranraer respectively, while exciting prospects Josh Campbell of Hibs and Zac Butterworth from Rangers have signed season long loan deals.
We understand completely that it is a tough time right now and to that end the decision to set admission prices for the season ahead was not taken lightly. Our fans have backed us generously in a variety of ways throughout lockdown such as our football card game and especially our Just Giving page. With that in mind we can confirm that our pricing will be more in line with the majority of League 2 clubs and will be as follows:
SPFL League 2 Season 2020/2021 Admission:
£15 – Adults
£10 – Concessions (Child, Students, OAP 65+
Children under 12 will remain free when accompanied by an adult paying full price
Albeit prices for admission have increased slightly, we have structured our season tickets to offer better value for money to our loyal fans.
SPFL League 2 Season 2020/2021 Season Ticket prices:
£165 – Adult
£95 – Concessions (Child, Student, OAP 65+)
Season tickets will be valid for all league matches only and can be purchased via www.ecfcdirect.com
Sadly given very recent developments, the season will almost certainly begin without fans being able to attend; to that end we are delighted to announce a partnership with Infinity 21 – a media company based in Northern Ireland that specialises in live streaming. Our new streaming platform ECFC TV will allow our fans to watch our home matches until such time as it is deemed safe for them to return to Ainslie Park. Again it is nearly impossible to predict when and if fans will be allowed back into stadiums, however we hope this initiative – with LIVE commentary from the voice of Edinburgh City Graham Nisbet – will be well-received.
Live streaming will be included for all season ticket holders for as long as the status quo remains; pay-per-view and bundle deals will announced in due course!
It is likely that even when fans are eventually allowed back, social distancing requirements will be in force, therefore the number of supporters who can be admitted may well be limited. Season ticket holders will of course be first priority when it comes to getting access to Ainslie Park.
We appreciate it’s been a long road even to this point, with more challenges ahead; your support during these difficult times has been invaluable and everyone at the Club cannot wait to get back to actually playing competitive football in October!
