Edinburgh City Confirm Signing of Stephen Bronsky
We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Stephen Bronsky following his release from Elgin City.
The commanding centre half joined Elgin in June 2017, having previously played for Clyde and Annan Athletic, together with Lowland League sides East Kilbride and BSC. His time in the North has been the most successful of his career to this point, a point underlined when he was voted Elgin’s supporters’ player of the year for 2019/20.
Gary Naysmith spoke to ECFC TV about capturing Stephen’s signature:
“I am delighted that we have been able to complete a deal to bring Stephen to the club. Although still only 26, Stephen has gained great experience of league two football over the last 4 years after playing around 120 games for Elgin City and this experience will be invaluable to us as we build for the new campaign. Not only will Stephen strengthen our central defensive options for next season but he will also be a real asset for us at both ends of the pitch. I am looking forward to starting working with him when we return for pre season training on June 15th.”
ECFC TV caught up with the latest new arrival and he had this to say:
“I’m looking forward to getting started with a team closer to home with big ambition. Hoping I can help the club go one step further than last year and make the step up into league 1!”
Great to have you on board Stephen!
