A Familiar Face Returns

Edinburgh City are delighted to announce that Liam Henderson has signed a one-year deal with the Club.  The former Falkirk defender originally joined City on an emergency loan last November before agreeing a short-term contract in January, however the lure of full-time football saw the 22 year-old head Down Under to join Australian side Stirling Lions.  Following his return to Scotland he has agreed to re-join the Citizens where he will link up again with James McDonaugh.

McDonaugh said “We are happy to have Liam back from Australia and are delighted that he chose City over the other offers he had.  He brings to us a versatility as well as a quality that is in keeping with the standard of player we have managed to recruit over the Summer”.

Subject to International Clearance, Liam will be in the squad for this Saturday’s Ladbrokes League 2 opener against Albion Rovers.
