Edinburgh City Football Club are delighted to announce that former Hibernian and Livingston defender Brad Donaldson has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Club and becomes the ninth signing of the Summer.
The 23 year-old, who has also had spells at Cowdenbeath, Linlithgow Rose and Musselburgh Athletic, can play anywhere in defence and is looking forward to linking up with City manager James McDonaugh once again.
McDonaugh commented “Brad has joined us having just won the League title with Calvin Shand at Musselburgh Athletic. He is a player I have known since he was 10 years old in the Hibs Academy and he comes to us eager to prove that he can play at this level again. I am happy to give him that chance and I have no doubt that he is more than capable of doing just that”.
Edinburgh City Football Club are delighted to announce that Calum Antell, John Dunn and Calum Hall have agreed new deals to remain at the Club next season.
The trio join Josh Walker, Marc Laird, Craig Thomson, Gareth Rodger and the eight new signings announced to date in James McDonaugh re-shaped squad for next season.
Leaving the Club are defender Chris McKee and striker Ashley Grimes with both players having their contracts terminated by mutual consent. The Club would like to thank Chris and Ashley for their contribution to City and wish them both well in their future careers.
